Tom Okada Joins Celunite as Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Mobile Communications Industry Leader to Drive Growth at Mobile Linux Software Provider

Sunnyvale, CA., August 13, 2007 — Celunite, developer of a next-generation mobile software platform based on Linux and other open source innovations, today announced that mobile industry veteran Tom Okada will join the company as vice president of sales and business development. Mr. Okada was most recently general manager of Motorola Mobile Devices in Japan. Additionally, he served as a managing director of the Motorola Japan board and vice president of Motorola Asia Pacific Pte Ltd.

“Tom brings hard-won knowledge of the Asian mobile industry as well as a deep understanding of how to supply quality software to demanding mobile phone customers,” noted Mahesh Veerina, president and CEO of Celunite. “Tom will be a tremendous asset to our company and will have an immediate impact on the growth of our business.”

Under Mr. Okada’s leadership, Motorola launched the M1000, the first UMTS/WiFi smart phone in Japan and the highly successful MOTORAZR FOMA products. Mr. Okada also played a key role in the initial stage of the LiMo Foundation of which Celunite is a core member. The LiMo Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit entity that strives to increase the adoption of Linux within the mobile industry.

Previously, Mr. Okada was a senior engineering and a program manager at Motorola Mobile, and was responsible for the Wireless System Development Center, with a primary focus to develop WCDMA technology with NTT DoCoMo. Additionally, Mr. Okada was responsible for establishing the team in Yokosuka Research Park.
