Celunite Opens New Development Center in Pune, India.

Company Employs More Than One Hundred Engineers Now Working on Open Mobile Linux.

PUNE, INDIA [December 5, 2006] – Celunite, Inc., a leading provider of an open mobile Linux software platform and professional services, today announced it has opened a software development facility in Pune, India.

“This is the Celunite’s second development center in India”, said Mahesh Veerina, the company’s chief executive officer. “Our Pune-based engineers are experts in Linux, having previously delivered cost effective software solutions based on open embedded Linux to chip manufacturers, device manufacturers, and OEM customers.”

Celunite’s Pune-based engineers also have provided end-to-end solutions across the entire open embedded systems software stack, including programmability frameworks, custom tools, operating systems, and embedded application software.

Celunite currently employs about 60 engineers at the Pune center, and plans to double the headcount by the end of next year. Additionally, the company is adding to its staff at its development center in Hyderabad, India. Celunite is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California.
