Celunite Names Marc Levante as Senior Vice President

Mobile Industry Veteran To Manage Strategic Product Development and Customer Relationships for Fast-Growing Mobile Linux Software Provider

Sunnyvale, CA., Sept. 12, 2007 — Celunite, developer of a next-generation mobile software platform based on Linux and other open source innovations, today announced the appointment of Marc Levante as senior vice president. Levante will focus on shaping the company’s products for mobile operators’ requirements, OEM relationships and supporting the development of a richer ecosystem for the mobile Linux industry.

A 20-year mobile industry veteran, Mr. Levante is known as an exceptional strategist and evangelist responsible for growing the market through developing advanced product, network and ecosystem requirements and championing the cooperative adoption of important mobile industry standards. Mr. Levante brings significant executive experience at leading mobile communications companies in the areas of technology development, network deployment and global implementation for broadband and mobile Internet applications.

Earlier in his career Mr. Levante served as vice president of technology at Vodafone. There he developed solutions with the company’s product management and marketing teams that were implemented globally across all mobile network functions (radio, core, services and terminals). More recently, Mr. Levante served as CTO of Openwave, where he shaped the roadmap and development strategy of software applications for handset manufacturers and mobile, broadband and fixed-line operators. These applications included the evolution of mobile browsers to Web 2.0 with a completely new user experience and ecosystem. Most recently, Mr. Levante served as CEO of myZenPlanet of San Ramon, California, a company specializing in applications to mobilize social networking Internet services.
